ICMRT thanks its supporters for a successful fundraiser!

ICMRT extends the deepest gratitude to all of our donors and volunteers who contributed to our fall Gala on October 6th, 2007. The goal of the evening was to raise $20,000 to benefit ICMRT’s malaria prevention program in the Ivory Coast.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we exceeded our goal by raising $20,656, with donations towards the cause still coming in. The board of directors was greatly encouraged by all the excitement and positive feedback surrounding the event. It is empowering to see a room filled with individuals who are committed to a common cause and who recognize the great things they can accomplish together. To recap the evening, the live auction was filled with laughs and lively bidding on everything from African artwork to autographed Seahawks gear. Our delicious dinner was enjoyed while listening to the beautiful sounds of Karim’s Cora music. The evening ended in dancing and celebration with the drums and dance entertainment from Adefua. The funds raised from the evening will be directly applied to the purchase, shipment, and distribution of 5,000 Long Lasting Mosquito nets.
